Jenny launched the “German with Jenny” YouTube channel in 2015, rapidly growing it to hundreds of thousands of followers. Her passion for languages inspired her to develop an app designed to help learners apply what they’ve learned. This successful app led to the founding of lingoni in 2019, where Jenny now oversees finances, marketing, content creation, and quality assessment. Having lived in four countries and speaking five languages, Jenny is also a vegan food enthusiast and shares her life with two dogs, Snoopy and Naira.

Jacqueline co-founded lingoni with Jenny in 2019. She manages lingoni’s Instagram accounts, creates content for the German channels, and collaborates closely with other content creators, designers, and the quality assessment team. Additionally, Jacqueline oversees and manages our corporate identity (CI) and all design-related work. She enjoys swimming, biking, and spending time with her son, Nelio.

Ute is responsible for creating lingoni’s learning resources. The lingoni GERMAN app will help you improve your reading, writing, listening and pronunciation skills. In order to improve your fluency, you will need to speak German on a regular basis with someone who knows the language well enough (B2 or higher). Private lessons with a qualified native teacher are also advisable, as this gives you a lot of speaking time and your mistakes will be corrected so that you will improve faster. An additional way to boost your speaking skills is by meeting up with a language exchange partner.

You’ll get access to lots of videos (including exclusive videos that you can’t find on YouTube), worksheets, podcasts and interactive exercises. There are three learning categories: lessons, podcasts and vocab training. For each category, there are a number of interactive exercises you have to complete in order to get to the next level. You need to get 60% correct to advance to the next level. Interactive exercises consist of filling in blanks, building sentences, describing pictures, correcting mistakes and listening to a word or phrase and then typing it. 12-Months and Lifetime Subscriptions give you access to our Pronunciation feature. Our Lifetime subscription also includes our OneDrive folder with all of our worksheets and podcasts for you to download.
